Hi, I'm Alyx, a 17-year breast cancer survivor who has been exactly where you are now - unable to enjoy foods because of treatment side-effects.

Within hours of my first A/C chemo for breast cancer, I became very unwell with nausea. Not long after I developed mouth sores and metallic taste. I had very little desire to eat because it was too painful and made me nauseous. Food simply wasn’t enjoyable anymore.

And all this was happening as Christmas was around the corner. I’m a foodie so this was just torture for me. I resigned myself to just managing as best I could.

Like up to 80% of all cancer patients, I was malnourished. In fact, studies have proven that being malnourished during cancer treatment can make treatment less effective and shorten lifespan. This really frightened me!

Well, I'm here to change all that because I want better for you! I want to show you how you can still find joy in your favourite foods despite cancer treatment side-effects.
