This smoothie bowl is pleasing to the eye and sure to get even the smallest of appetites going.
It can be adapted to suit a number of different side-effects. Just check out the notes below :)
This recipe is from our cookbook, Through Rose-Tinted Glasses.
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. You may need to add a little more milk f the mixture is too thick but you don’t want to make it runny. It’s a fine line. Add any toppings if desired
For the Lemon Myrtle Crunch, preheat oven to 220ºC and line a baking tray with paper. Add oats and lemon myrtle to a small bowl and pour in enough maple syrup to coat the oats. Place oats mixture onto the lined tray and bake for about 5 minutes or until golden.
For dry mouth & throat, difficulty swallowing, and sore mouth: Leave out any dry or rough topping ingredients.
For loss of weight: Consider using full fat ingredients where possible.
